📅 ASL Sign of the Day: TOMORROW

A-hand, thumb up — that's all you need. Touch your chin, arc forward, done.

This is TOMORROW. One hand, three seconds, zero ambiguity.

Step 1 — Starting handshape Close your dominant hand into a fist, thumb extended upward. Rest the thumb tip against the dominant side of your chin. Thumb stays in contact with the chin until the arc begins — don't let it float away early.

Step 2 — Motion Arc the A-hand forward and down, away from your face. Think of it like turning a page forward — you're gesturing into tomorrow. The movement originates at the wrist, not the elbow.

Step 3 — Ending handshape Hand ends extended forward from the chin, thumb still pointing up. Palm faces slightly outward. Hold the position for a beat — no flick, no bounce.

Step 4 — In use "See you tomorrow!" — exactly one sign, exactly one meaning. TOMORROW works for appointments, plans, deadlines, any future reference within the next day.

Non-manual marker: neutral or slightly raised eyebrows, forward gaze. Dominant hand only — no non-dominant hand involved.
