Mandala #36 — Kr: Kriptón (Krypton)

Element 36 · Kr · Kriptón
Green-yellow discharge glow
A noble gas with a precise definition — krypton-86 once defined the meter; its laser is a scientific standard.

From 1960 to 1983, the meter was officially defined as 1,650,763.73 wavelengths of krypton-86 radiation. Krypton discharge glows with green and yellow-orange spectral lines. Krypton fluoride lasers are used in microfabrication and fusion research.

50 Mandalas de Elementos Químicos — a sacred geometry digital art series where science and beauty converge. Each mandala's palette, pattern, and structure is inspired by the element's atomic character, crystal structure, reactivity, and visual identity.
